2008 - Kapparot (short)
It is the day before Yom Kippur and Liat is preparing for a housewarming in her first apartment without her parents. Her father is a traditional Sephardic Jew who wants to insure she fulfills the custom of “kaparot” before the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, which serves as a form of absolution from sin. Tradition and modernity meet head on in this short from the The Ma'ale School of Television Film and the Arts in Jerusalem.
